SeaLink Director Lucy Hughes Turnbull To Retire From Board

Friday 23 October 2015

SeaLink Travel Group (ASX: SLK) (SeaLink or Company) today announced that Deputy Chair, Lucy Hughes Turnbull would not be offering herself for re-election at the Company’s Annual General meeting to be held on 27th October 2015.

Under the Notice of Annual General Meeting Motion lodged with the ASX on 24th September 2015 Ms Hughes Turnbull was to retire at the meeting, in accordance with Clause 59.1 of the Company’s Constitution, and seek re-election as a Director.

SeaLink Chair, Andrew McEvoy, said the Board reluctantly accepted the resignation and thanked Lucy for the intelligent contributions she made to the Company’s most recent growth and expansion. “Lucy has been a wonderful contributor since she joined the Board in the lead up to SeaLink’s listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2013 and has provided significant support to myself and other directors since accepting the role of Deputy Chairman earlier this year,” Mr McEvoy said.

“Her knowledge, experience and insight will be missed and while we are disappointed Lucy will be leaving the Board, we understand she had to reassess her ongoing commitments in light of her changed circumstances.”

Ms Hughes Turnbull said “I have enjoyed being part of the SeaLink’s Board at an important phase of the company’s transformation to being a listed public company with a strong growth strategy as evidenced by the acquisition of Transit Systems Marine in September. I wish the Andrew, Jeff, the Board and the strong Management team all the best for the future.”

Sealink will undertake an extensive search to find a replacement for Lucy commencing immediately
