- The roots of the SeaLink Travel Group go back to the 1970s when a Kangaroo Island businessman formed the company Philanderer Ferries. In 1989 the ferry operation was purchased by Malaysian company MBF and renamed Kangaroo Island SeaLink. In 1996, a group of South Australian investors and staff members purchased SeaLink from MBF, returning it to local South Australian ownership.
- Since this purchase in 1996, two new state-of-the-art ferries have been specially built for the Kangaroo Island service, making the journey faster, more comfortable, more reliable and safer.
- In peak periods, up to 12 services a day run each way.
- Kangaroo Island SeaLink is also the major freight service provider between the Island and the mainland with freight ranging from livestock and grain to dangerous goods, including fuel and gas.
- Through the years Kangaroo Island SeaLink has continued to excel in customer service, business excellence and marketing activities which has enabled us to compete as an international tourism player.
- SeaLink Kangaroo Island Tours offer visitors the chance to experience various day and two day tour programs visiting many of Kangaroo Island's highlights, including Seal Bay, Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch.
- Our daily coach service connection from Adelaide to Cape Jervis provides an essential route for local commuters along the Fleurieu Peninsula, as well as connects hundreds of people a day to and from our Kangaroo Island ferry service.
- Self-Drive Packages are also very popular whereby visitors to Kangaroo Island are able to take their own car on the ferry or hire a car for pick-up on arrival.
- SeaLink book over 80 different accommodation properties on Kangaroo Island making it easy for visitors to find something within their taste and budget.
- Captain Cook Cruises, Sydney operates a fleet of 15 vessels that provide a wide range of sightseeing, dining and cocktail cruises around the famous Sydney Harbor
- Sightseeing Tours range from the 'must do' Sydney Harbour Coffee Cruise, to High Tea, Cocktail and Dinner Cruises, Aboriginal Cultural Cruises and even Whale Watching Cruises
- The Zoo Express offers ferry services to Taronga Park Zoo and there are cruises based around special events.
- Captain Cook vessels are also available for charter by corporate groups, conferences and social club
- The historic paddle-wheeler PS Murray Princess offers a unique way to see he majestic Murray River. The vessel is propelled by an authentic, massive stern paddle-wheel.
- Cruises are offered for three nights, four nights or seven nights from the ship's base at Mannum, on the Murray River, about a one hour drive from Adelaide. Coach Transfers from Adelaide are available.
- Adelaide Sightseeing been a part of the STG for over 10 years and delivers some of Adelaide's best sightseeing experiences.
- Utilising a fleet of large coaches (between 21-53 seats), Adelaide Sightseeing offers a comprehensive range of day tours that highlight the diversity of South Australia.
- Tour locations include the City Highligts, Victor Harbor, River Murray, Barossa Valley, Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills.
- Tours operate daily and are perfect for visitors to Adelaide who don't have their own vehicle and wish to experience the highlights of the city and surrounds.
- Coaches are also available for charter to corporate, conference and group markets.
- Adelaide Panda Tours was launched in early 2010 to coincide with the introduction of Giant Pandas to the Adelaide Zoo. Exclusive 'behind the scenes' tours are available through Adelaide Panda Tours along with Adelaide accommodation packages.
- The Ski Connection provides a specialist booking service for ski holiday packages to the Victorian ski fields of Mt Hotham, Mt Buller and Falls Creek.
- The service offers a one stop shop booking service for coach transfers, accommodation, clothing, equipment hire and travel insurance.
- Express coach services are operated by Ski Connection from Adelaide to the various snowfields throughout the snow season from June to September.
- International ski holiday packages are also offered through our travel agency services.
- Operating from locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, the Australian Holiday Centres are SeaLink Travel Group owned travel agencies specialising in selling quality Australian holidays, particularly rail holidays and group escorted tours.
- Australian Holdiay Centres also offer group travel, charter services and holiday packages for events such as the Clipsal 500 Adelaide V8 Supercar Championships.
- SeaLink Queensland operates five modern high-speed catamarans from Townsville to Magnetic Island and Palm Island taking approximatley 20 minutes and 90 minutes respectively.
- SeaLink Queensland Charter Services also conduct ship to shore transfers for visiting cruise ships along the East Coast and are available for charter for weddings and cocktail functions for up to 100 guests.
- Kangaroo Island Adventure Tours offers spirited travellers a touch of adventure with a tour that goes off the beaten track
- Guests travel in small groups on a mid-sized coach for a fun and informal yet informative two days of touring on Kangaroo Island.
- There is also the opportunity to experience activities and attractions such as sand boarding, biking, kayaking and bushwalking.
- All meals are included with accommodation provided at the SeaLink Travel Group owned Vivonne Bay Lodge.
- Kangaroo Island Odysseys offers the ultimate in first-class eco-touring with multi-lingual driver/guides available to speak Italian, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin.
- Guests travelling with Kangaroo Island Odysseys will experience personalised travel in comfort and stylein luxury 4WD vehicles and discover Australian animals as they're meant to be seen - roaming freely.
- Tours range from 1-3 days and offer guests high quality wildlife and nature based experiences.

Adelaide Central Bus Station
In 2007, STG were selected by the Adelaide City Council as the Facility Managers of the brand new multi-million dollar Adelaide Central Bus Station. In addition to being a tenant and utilising the station as a departure point for its sightseeing, coach connections, express ski coaches and airport transfer operations, STG manage the day to day operations of this magnificent facility which houses over 10 other regional and interstate coach operators.
